Position: German speaking Customer Assistant Salary of 22,000

A German speaking Customer Service Assistant is required on a fixed term contract for our client based in Poole. The Customer Service Assistant will need to be fluent in both English and German and will deliver outstanding customer service, via telephone and email, to customers and retail partners.

Working closely with and supporting other customer service team members and departments to fulfil all aspects of the job role.

Responsibilities:

Ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately and delivered to customers within expected timescales

Assist with requests regarding stock availability and price information, primarily over email

Liaise with and support the sales team with customer accounts, queries and orders

Provide and analyse customer data and performance to sales

Process orders placed via the system and inputting manual orders

Ensure a record of orders and cancellations values are logged on relevant internal systems

Assist Key Account Merchandisers with order processing

Amend customer orders to meet requirements

Ensure appropriate charges, discounts and product catalogues are applied to orders

Deal with telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner

Direct customers to relevant information pages on the company website to assist with enquiries

Provide advice to customers regarding local stockists, product features and functions

Compile weekly forecasts for the warehouse

Monitor orders on the system, ensuring they are passed to the warehouse in the appropriate time to meet customer delivery dates

Provide support to Supply Chain Outbound to ensure customer delivery requirements are metCommunicate with customers regarding delivery updates

Key skills:
Previous experience of working within a similar role

German language, both written and verbal

IT literate with a good knowledge of Excel and ideally SageExcellent attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work on own initiative

Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
