Your new role, what's involved?

The integration of technology and digital delivery will be the cornerstone of WSP's approach to enhanced delivery of engineering, infrastructure, building and environmental projects.

We're going through a digital revolution and looking for enterprising and adaptable digital professionals looking to help us push limits and challenge the status quo, driving the use of digital technology towards achieving net zero.

Our Highways business is engaged on some of the UK largest road projects and frameworks including strategic alliances with the best of the best in the digital field. Recent projects include HS2 Old Oak Common and Euston Station, the Smart Motorways Alliance and various other National Highways major schemes.

There is a very bright future with excellent career prospects for those with a passion for digital and achieving net zero, so if you have experience with either the Autodesk or Bentley suite of products including Common Data Environments such as ProjectWise then we want to hear from you!
  • 70% of your role will see you actively contributing to project design development such as internal coordination, clash detection and design review sessions as well as external presentations to clients.
  • You'll also spend your time assisting in the production of models and helping to set up drawings.
  • Assist the WSP UK Highways BIM Steering Group to implement new BIM practices and CAD Standards.
  • Identify the best approach to data sharing/exchange and model build quality.
  • Formulating and managing data exchange with external participants/clients.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • Proven expertise in a similar role working with Autodesk or Bentley suite of products
  • Experienced with Common Data Environments and ideally ProjectWise.
  • Demonstrable experience with Clash detection and clash resolution logging software such as iTwin, Navisworks, BIMTrack or BIMCollab.
  • Sound engineering "know-how" able to appreciate what we are designing.
  • Can positively represent WSP when meeting and conversing with clients.
