Business Development Manager - Commercial InsuranceYorkshire and NorthEast Distribution of BrokersSalary commensurate with experience - between £50k and £60k, plus car and benefitsAs part of the regional leadership team, you'll contribute to growth of the Commercial mid-market book.This is a strategic sales management role for a progressive UK Insurer, and one that receives strong broker reviews for service and appetite to write business.As Business Development Manager, you will:Join a leading insurer in the UK market, where strong financial results and ratings provide a solid trading platform - they want to write business and are keen to continue with growth.Take responsibility for growth of the regional book, working with branch and underwriting managers on the development strategy.Own the senior relationships within the broker panel.Focus on mid-market business - SME, Scheme's and volume are dealt with by colleagues, to allow you to target the strategic wins.Work for a business that is passionate about employee wellbeing, engagement and development.Be comfortable in a remote role, with some time in the local office and travel to broker locations.YouAn ambitious development professional, probably from an insurer background working in Broker development or underwriting development, and looking to progress your career.You may also be a broking Account Executive, looking to jump the fence.Driven and seeking a role with progression - training and support is provided, so energy and attitude counts for as much as experience.
