About this Position TITLE: Director, Enterprise Sales LOCATION: United Kingdom Riverbed seeks a Sales Leader based in the United Kingdom, to lead sales program, develop sales objectives, establish sales territories and quotas, manage budgets, and evaluate sales performance. The Sales Leader will report directly to the Vice President, Sales, UKI. This position has full responsibility for an assigned quota and a team of 6 Sales employees. Job Responsibilities: Business Management: As part of the UKI Sales Management Team, lead in the development of the regions goals, strategies and actions. Ensure timely execution of these strategies and actions. Set and execute an appropriate sales strategy that covers go to market, hi-touch, channel, alliances and partnerships. Ensure business forecasts and revenue reports are produced and presented on time. Leadership Set sales revenue targets and drive these down throughout the sales organization. Recruit, coach, develop and motivate high calibre sales professionals Build a high-performance, solutions-sales based sales culture. Drive the performance management process which tracks sales rep productivity and drives increases in effectiveness. Business Development: Create and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers within large customers and partners. Drive Business Growth through existing customer and by acquiring new customers. Demonstrate the drive and determination required to close large opportunities. Work with regional sales teams to identify, prioritize and qualify new business opportunities, working closely with other parts of the sales organization as required. Effectively present Riverbed’s value proposition, roadmap and vision to key customers and strategic partners in the region. Influence C-level executives within strategic accounts. Develop and manage regional channel partner effectiveness. Work Experience and Education: Proven Success in leading and motivating successful sales teams Must have experience obtaining and exceeding a team quota of $10+ million Domain competent in a least one discipline of Application Architecture, Performance Management, Observability or Network Infrastructure High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management, and team building skills.
