About the RoleThe Digital Marketing Manager will be supporting the Head of Institutional Digital Product Management to develop and execute the strategic digital marketing programs to best position Nuveen for growth within its institutional business.The role is focused on our institutional websites, working closely with marketing peers globally to align the sites with Nuveen’s institutional marketing strategy. You would be part of the Web Marketing team which is responsible for the development of improved customer experiences, solution architecture and tools on nuveen. This team creates and drives the vision, strategic development, deployment, and support of websites, applications and integrated marketing initiatives.Key Responsibilities and DutiesLead on key strategic projects – to include the development of business cases, scoping of requirements, lead regular project workstream updates with our key stakeholders and supporting metricsPartner with client & product marketing and brand teams to understand the marketing objectives and strategies, and translate those priorities for the digital channel, scoping and prioritizing activities based on business and customer impactResponsible for product actions, such as new fund launches and mergers, as well as optimizing product web pages and ensuring data and content complianceFacilitate production operations for front end UX, CMS management, data feeds, API integrations, and troubleshootingWork closely with business partners, product owners and the creative team to create web pages within the CMS, utilizing different components and templates to achieve the optimal design and customer experienceSupport a continuous improvement-oriented work environment and mindsetEnsure appropriate product testing, oversee user acceptance testing and support go-to-market planning in order to increase traffic and gain successful customer engagementWork alongside analytical team partners, ensure success measurement plan is executed and outcomes are communicated to the various stakeholdersRegularly and systematically use analytics and client feedback to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision makingSupport personalization, CRM connectivity and other marketing automation initiatives that involve Nuveen’s websitesRequired QualificationsA minimum of 5+ years of experience in a website development/content management digital settingAsset management experience strongly preferredExperience leading strategic, complex large-scale initiatives involving many work streams and multi-month development, including demonstrated ability to focus on long term goals and strategic outcomes.Team player with solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications.Strong knowledge of usability and customer experience principles and techniques for mobile and web information architecture and designExperience analysing, interpreting and acting on client data and insights.Experience building strong relationships with stakeholders, team members and clients – and working on cross-functional teams.Motivated self-starter who is able to work independently.Experience of CMS, web design, information architecture and user interface best practicesAbility to manage, organize, coordinate, and prioritize tasks among multiple projects is critical, while adhering to delivery timelinesAgile Scrum development lifecycle experience, plus coordinating with Scrum Masters and development team membersMotivated self-starter with a great attention to detail and a keen eye for quality controlPreferred Qualifications Experience with the content management system Sitecore.Excellent interpersonal skills in order to meet routinely with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as outside vendorsExperience with web analytics tools and knowledge of Google AnalyticsCandidate must be self-directed and have excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skillsExperience working in a global, cross-functional team is a plusExpert level understanding of digital, social and emerging tech trendsUnderstanding of financial services regulations and compliance.This role requires no regulatory designation.Nuveen is committed to providing equal opportunity across all employment practices and we believe our employees have a right to a diverse and inclusive workplace.Nuveen offers support for those who need assistance with our online application process to provide an equal employment opportunity to all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities.
