For this Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role you must be an ambitious Maths Graduate who has ideally has already worked successfully in a school-based role or has some tutoring experience and has a desire for more responsibility in the role although this is not essential. We want to see Graduates with the drive to demonstrate a desire to become a Teacher in the near future and present difficult concepts with complete transparency. The Headteacher wants to recruit a Graduate with the enthusiasm to energise their pupils. This Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant role involves you supporting teaching and learning across all Key Stages in Maths. This Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant position involves allowing your teaching ability to soar by taking responsibility for the classes you support. As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the teaching staff by contributing to lesson plans and preparation, gaining a vital understanding in the day-to-day mechanics of teaching.
