Job descriptionPwC is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing Digital Marketing team. The Digital team seeks to create compelling digital experiences for our clients across channels, leads the firm in the development of digital marketing strategies and strives for investment in the right tools and technology to support our ambitions. The Digital Marketing team collaborates with the business and other teams in the Sales and Marketing function such as Brand, Design, Content, Campaigns and Sales to shape the right digital approaches. It is also responsible for working with a small group of agencies, such as our media agency (PHD), as well as managing our relationship with LinkedIn and working with our technology partners including Salesforce. Reporting into the Head of Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation, this role will be responsible for our Channel focused specialists within Digital - a team of 12 individuals who specialise in the channel strategies and delivery excellence of web and SEM, digital advertising, social media and insights and analytics. They will work side-by-side with our Marketing Automation team within Digital and also our Digital Planning Managers who work across our campaigns and media collaborations. They will lead the team in the channel activation of our major marketing campaigns and programmes, as well as pushing forward the overall strategies for those channels and how they come together to deliver an exceptional experience for our clients across digital touchpoints.This is an exciting time for the Marketing function as it looks to make a step-change in its approach to digital and we are committed to creating an inspiring and creative environment for the team to thrive in. We need a Senior Digital Marketing Manager who is ready to embrace the opportunities and work alongside the Head of Digital Marketing to bring to life our digital and technology strategy for the Marketing function.Sales and Marketing is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s market strategy and in particular to ensure;We innovate every dayWe are inclusive by defaultWe deliver commercial impact with purposeWe tell stories that inspire.As a senior member of the digital marketing team responsible for the overall development of the capability, the individual will be: Leading a team of Digital Managers, Senior Associates and Associates to deliver marketing activity, campaigns and projects for the businessPlaying an important role in managing our agency relationships, in particular with our media agency, PHD Building deep relationships with social platforms such as LinkedIn and building new relationships where we need greater partnership e.g. Twitter and InstagramWorking closely with Sales and Marketing team leaders on a portfolio of campaigns and projects spanning brand awareness, engagement and lead generation activities, along with capability building projectsDeveloping channel strategies in conjunction with our Corporate Affairs team, with a focus on the website and corporate social Shaping and driving the reporting and insights into our channels, including sales data in our Salesforce CRM platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, media agency reports etcSpotting new opportunities and trends and building business cases for new digital tools, technologies and methods that we may wish to pilotAdvising marketing teams and the business on digital best practiceTaking ownership for what goes out over our digital channels to protect the reputation of the firm and enhance the client experienceDeveloping our digital marketing processes and channels to make sure they are GDPR compliant and liaising with our legal and risk teamsIdentifying digital skills gaps in the team and helping to fill those through bringing in new recruits or by identifying training for the team. Key capabilities the individual would need include:A passion for digital marketing and a curiosity to learn new things and challenge ways of workingA mind-set which demonstrates a comfort with testing, learning and optimisingTeam management experience and an ability to motivate and inspire teamsExperience of Marketing Automation systems would be advantageous, in particular Salesforce Marketing CloudProven digital marketing experience across channels with a focus on email, social, web and advertising, alongside experience of measuring and analysing data to build a picture of performance and ROI Clear communication skills to help lead a multidisciplinary team and agencies to deliver to briefsExperience of working in complex, matrix organisations would be helpful, along with evidence of managing varied stakeholder groupsStrong influencing skills to challenge the status quo.Our people need to demonstrate a defined set of core skills and behaviours.
