Essential:
• A current University of Edinburgh student (this post is designated for the purposes of student employment; therefore, you must be a matriculated student for the duration of your employment).
• Studying an undergraduate or post-graduate taught programme at the University of Edinburgh\u2019s School of Engineering. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular emphasis on written communication.
• Able to demonstrate passion about the university experience, and the University of Edinburgh in particular.
• Able to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness of our global society.
• Able to show a willingness to follow instruction and represent the University with integrity, professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Able to demonstrate reliability, with excellent time management and organization skills. 
• Basic IT skills, ideally with experience of working the MS Office suite, as well as access to own computer or smart device.

Please note – due to complex tax and legal issues associated with employing staff overseas, all applicants must currently be residing in the UK and for the duration of the work.

Desirable:
• Previous experience as an ambassador or within a customer service role.
• Experience of blogging.
