We are proud to be working with a leading industry sector company who have a fantastic working environment and culture.  The company are based in central Chichester and are looking for a brand new Finance and Administration Assistant.  This role will be office based. 

 

 

Package:

·         £20,000 - £23,000 depending on experience

·         21 days holiday plus bank holidays rising to 23 days (after 3 years) plus BH

Overview of the position of the Finance and Administration position:

This is a full-time permanent position where the chosen candidate will be working in a small team undertaking a wide variety of duties in finance and administration. 

We are looking for some with a solid background in finance and administration; someone who works well under pressure and who is numerically very strong.

 

Responsibilities for the position:

·         Create customer sales invoices each month to an agreed timetable.

·         Provide supporting data for the invoices as required.

·         Check & process supplier invoices daily.

·         Raise purchase order numbers for suppliers.

·         Manage customer remittances.

·         Check bank account and process transactions onto our online accountancy portal and update the cashflow spreadsheet.

·         Process company credit cards, business expenses and mileage.

·         Manage the vehicle fleet including; leases, insurance, breakdown, rentals, maintenance, duty of care and all associated administration.

·         Duty of care administration using the online portal for all grey fleet drivers.

·         Business insurance administration including renewals.

·         Reception and general duties including; manage visitors, deliveries and the online booking system, post, telephone answering, security access system, utility contracts, kitchen/domestic supplies & equipment, annual PAT testing.

·         Fire Warden and possibly First Aider.

·         Monitor the external storage unit, and co-ordinate archive management.

·         Administration of the telephone, mobile and 2SMS messaging systems.

·         Hotel & venue bookings & general administrative support.

·         Source equipment prudently to obtain quality products for use in the business.

·         Purchase workwear in conjunction with the Service Support Manager for the operations team.
