HR Query Team Advisor - Maternity Cover

Location: Daneshill, Stevenage, Hertfordshire
A maternity cover opportunity has become available within the BCH HR Query Team, to cover the role of Query Team Advisor. The post holder will be working alongside five other Query Team Advisors, and will report to our Senior Query Team Advisor. The period of maternity cover is anticipated to run from late July 2021 to end March 2022.
The newly-established Query Team provides a one stop shop for HR queries, which are received from across the three counties mainly via the IQuery system. Our Query Team Advisors independently provide expert guidance in response to a range of HR queries, providing advice on HR policies and processes and resolving queries as quickly as possible.
Providing a quality HR service to our customers and optimising the use of digital technology are paramount to our vision of the new Query Team. The post holder will support this by ensuring a customer focussed service, actively identifying improvement opportunities, and by providing accurate and reliable information and guidance.
Applicants must be a Level 5 Associate member of the CIPD or have equivalent HR experience. They must also have experience of applying employment legislation to a broad range of HR issues, and of advising customers on a range of HR matters.
Post holders will be based in Daneshill, Stevenage.
