Director of People & Culture
Responsibilities:
As the Director of People & Culture (P&C) Operations , you will lead and direct People & Culture’s priority for operational effectiveness and agility by developing and implementing strategic enablers that support P&C’s strategic vision and its goals. You will ensure P&C annual initiatives run smoothly, are executed intelligently and help create an overall healthy work environment while being cost-effective.
The following are aimed to improve P&C’s Organisational Effectiveness through this position:
Develop overall operations strategy and build an agile team
Overall leadership of the organisation’s HRIS strategy including continued roll-out of Workday, governance and stakeholder activities.
Drive workforce planning, analytics, predictive business intelligence, and key P&C metrics for monitoring performance.
Develop employee services, in partnership with the C entres of Expertise , to serve P&C customers and World Vision employees
Champion the development of operations competency across the P&C function
Your k ey r esponsibilities will i nclude:
Lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of P&C Operations function.
Lead P&C's digital systems strategy, providing support for all people-systems related issue (systems includes software, infrastructure & processes and vendors).
Lead P&C's workforce planning, analytics and predictive business intelligence. Develop and direct P&C’s analytics capacity to provide data analytics and human capital insights for the P&C function and executives.
Lead P&C's internal and external benchmarking. Provide P&C research, investigation and analysis support for strategic P&C initiatives as directed by the Chief People Offic er or W orld V ision executive leadership.
Lead P&C's process engineering portfolio.
Lead and direct P&C's project management capability.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
A master's degree, preferably with a strong emphasis on HR portfolio and process leadership
Prior experience as an HR Operations Manager of large, global enterprise.
10+ years directly related experience 50% of which is spent in a global HR department
Experience leading a global launch and management of an HRIS system/team, preferable Workday
7 to 10 years’ experience in internal process and project consulting
A strong analytical and quantitative mindset
Excellent decision-making skills
Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
Exceptional team management and organizational skills
Resilient, self-driven and goal-oriented professional with a strong people management orientation
Demonstrates digital dexterity and breadth of technical skills
A passion for and commitment to superior customer service, both internally and externally.
Strong listening skills combined with customer focus
Ability to build collaborative relationships and strong horizontal alliances in the organization
High level of Christian maturity and theological awareness with effective working knowledge of the principles of Christian life and ministry , as evidenced by life and character .
Ability to manage budgets
Use of statistical tools of analysis to produce management information
Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Ability to identify and develop others in the technical competency areas
Work experience with multiple cultures and with virtual teams
Certification in ICPM is a major plus
Understanding of and ability to use productivity improvement methodologies like LEAN and six-sigma is preferred
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
Ability and willingness to travel Domestic and I nternationally up to 30% of the time.
Compensation: For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is $119,292 to $164,027. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
