Octagon Group are working in partnership with a world-leading engineering company in Malvern, Worcestershire, which designs and develops industrial test equipment for a variety of different industries. The company provides bespoke products and applications which improve the manufacturing processes of hundreds of companies around the world and they are looking to recruit for a versatile Software Engineer – C# C++.

As a Software Engineer – C# C++, you will take on a varied role which encompasses the development of applications in a range of languages including C#, C++ and C. You will work on applications within desktop, real-time control and data acquisition system environments, utilising the latest software technologies and working within a multidisciplinary team in Malvern, Worcestershire.

Requirements for the Software Engineer C# C++ role:

* Strong OOP/OOD experience in a Windows environment

* Professional experience in C++, C# and C

* Exposure to a range of desktop, real-time and control-system applications advantageous

* Experience in developing automated applications which support manufacturing or industrial processes

* Experience with source code or version control systems
