We are now looking for an On-Site Operations Manager to join our team in Hawick/Jedburgh on a full-time basis. The Role As the On-Site Operations Manager, you will be the glue that joins our planning operations and clients loading teams, offering support and feedback when necessary. Providing support to the customer site operation teams, you will implement initiatives that will optimise opportunities for productivity and monitor the output of operations. You will offer suggestions for areas of improvement to the Contract Manager, while also ensuring any issues raised from operations and customer relations are managed efficiently. Additionally, you will oversee the recruitment and training processes for new staff, as well as recording absences, performance and targets. About You To be considered as the On-Site Operations Manager, you will need: - Proven experience in managing the site operations (particular focus on warehouse operations) - Experience of working at a clients site - Experience of financial management of budget £8m - Experience of implementing change and driving improvement initiatives - Excellent problem-solving skills - Resilience and a flexible, proactive approach - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - The ability to create and deliver presentation material and analyse data - WMS and MRP systems experience (SAP or ORACLE) - A full, valid driving licence, as travel between two customer sites will be required Other organisations may call this role Logistics Manager, Site Manager, Operations Manager, Distribution Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, Stores Manager, or Dispatch Manager.
