Digital Marketing Assistant Location: Bristol, Avon, BS13 7TW Salary: £20k to £24k per annum, DOE Contract: Full time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8.30am - 5.00pm) We are a small but fast-growing online retailer of tools, equipment, workwear and PPE to the DIY and trade sectors, and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing Executive / Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team based in Bristol. Marketing Assistant - The Role: To provide support in a wide range of Marketing initiatives from campaign to digital marketing, within an eCommerce environment, and, to assist with the growth and development of our overall Marketing offer. The successful candidate will have some marketing experience, a relevant qualification and a passion for eCommerce and digital marketing. You may already be working as an Assistant and are now looking for the next step in your career or are already in a similar role. This is a progressive role and would suit someone passionate and ambitious who is looking to grow with the company. Marketing Assistant - Responsibilities include: Assisting with the planning and delivery of promotional campaigns Media creation of images, videos, and advertising banners Producing engaging website content pages Assist in the creation of emails and maintenance of mailing lists (list health, engagement and segmentation) Help with R&D stage for new campaign set ups (replenishment, SMS, browse abandonment, post purchase referral, win backs) Support on the ongoing development and delivery of PPC and SEO Collaborating on the execution, monitoring, and reporting of SEO content optimisation Analysing and reporting on digital marketing performance Design and production of paper marketing flyers and brochures Help to build out the current social media strategy and calendar Create unique and engaging social content (polls, stories, video, carousels) and schedule Working closely with third party partners and suppliers Skills required: Marketing qualifications highly desirable Good knowledge of PPC, SEO and digital marketing Competent in MS office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Able to use web analytics software (Google Analytics) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated and deadline driven Excellent at project managing and delivering on objectives Knowledge of Adobe products - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro Ability to work with email marketing tools and CMS systems Copywriting - ability to write engaging content Excellent attention to detail Analytical and able to develop and utilise reporting Creative A passion for eCommerce and digital marketing Experience required: 1 to 2 years previous experience in a marketing role is essential Experience working in an eCommerce or digital marketing environment is desirable Package: 37.5 hours per week (8.30am - 5.00pm) 22 day's annual holiday (excluding bank holidays) Permanent contract (after successful probation period) Salary: 20k to 24k per annum (Depending on experience) Start date: ASAP If you have the skills and experience, we require and you enjoy working with friendly, professional people with a bit of fun thrown in, please click on the APPLY button and forward an up-to-date CV and cover letter.
