Through continued collaboration you will design, own and deliver digital innovations that feed into our overall business strategy, inspiring us to always ‘think digital’. You will be able to move quickly between strategic, innovative thinking and operational delivery along with a pragmatic ‘get things done’ attitude to the role.You will be a self-motivated, calm leader with exceptional collaborative influencing skills and outstanding relationship building skills.Ideally you will be from the B2B or professional services industry.We’re happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, we’ll support you to balance your work and life.A look into the role As our Head of Digital Marketing within our Marketing & Business Development team, you will be responsible for the following areas:Digital strategyYou’ll design and drive the strategy for the firm’s digital marketing presence working closely with our Head of Brand, Marketing & BD, marketing and business development leaders, and digital transformation team to drive measurable commercial outcomes.As well as oversee our social, marketing automation and email marketing teams and strategies to ensure that we’re joined up to deliver a consistent, engaging and relevant audience experience at all times......you will identify current and future trends to ensure that our digital marketing strategy is fresh by staying updated with the latest innovations, technologies, changes in competition, and shifts in the digital landscape.Website transformation You’ll play a key role in driving the transformation of grantthornton.co.uk to deliver a best in class digital experience for our clients, bring our brand to life and showcase our people to help usgrow relationships,develop new business;and attract top talent to the firm.Working closely with our global team, external partners and of course internal M&BD team members and other internal stakeholders, you will have a laser focus on the client: understanding audiences and their behaviours along with a working knowledge of the client journey and how we can strengthen the website’s part at each stage.Marketing technology (MarTech)You’ll own, innovate and lead our MarTech strategy, roadmap and best practices, apply processes and functionality, and provide pragmatic insights that will drive collaboration between our cross functional teams.Leadership and operationsYou’ll actively lead by example and coach a happy and highly motivated team of experts to success.You will manage the digital marketing budget and in that context you’ll need to ensure our technology investments are being optimised and reviewed on a continual basis.Pushing the boundariesYou’ll be driving a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and experimentation across the marketing and business development team as well as harnessing expertise, developing processes, driving excellence and removing barriers to performance.Working collaboratively and effectively with internal and external digital experts to continuously push the boundaries to optimise digital performance and over-deliver against key performance metrics.Digital adoptionYou will be an inspiring agent of change and work closely with the Head of Brand, Marketing & BD and the firm’s Digital Transformation team to drive the awareness, adoption and engagement around our tools, ensuring the firm makes best use of digital in its marketing and business development activities.Measurement and performanceThis role will be accountable for the measurement and performance of all digital marketing activities against agreed KPIs and you will need to be very familiar with using insights and trends to advise and inform go to marketing strategy and planning.You will adopt a rigorous test and learn approach to measure and understand the impact of campaigns and to scale up where necessary.Knowing you’re right for us Joining us as our Head of Digital Marketing, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a Degree or equivalent and CIM diploma or equivalent. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way. Also, in terms of experience, we are looking for you to be:A highly proactive, progressive, and analytical mindsetEstablished digital leader with solid experience of leading teamsPrevious demonstrable experience in digital marketing, with a specific focus on designing, creating and managing outstanding digital client experiencesProven track record of delivering technical or digital projects that meet business outcomes and drive value for the businessSubstantial experience with leading Content Management Systems (CMS)Thorough understanding of UXUnderstanding of HTML/CSSExperience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google OptimiseUnderstanding of technical SEOStrong understanding of Marketing Automation principles (esp.
