Reports to:

Content Partner, Outcomes Role purpose: A role exists within Mindshare Outcomes within a growing SEO & Content specialist team. We are looking for an SEO & Content Account Director who will play an instrumental role in leading some of our biggest full-service accounts, who is both performance focused and creative and enjoys working as part of a wider team to implement their strategic vision.

Agency background:
Mindshare Outcomes is a digital division within Mindshare of integrated performance specialists, managing Programmatic, Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO and Content for our global and domestic clients. The Mindshare Outcomes SEO & Content team are responsible for defining the strategy to achieve organic growth for our clients, delivering technical excellence, data driven insights, content production and end to end content marketing campaigns

We do this by continually seeking and finding the perfect connection between their products and potential customers through owned, earned and where relevant paid media. For SEO & Content, our portfolio of clients includes Apple, TKMaxx, Unilever, Legal & General and Saga and for the right candidate, we will look at the right client mix for their skill set.

The

Role:

The candidate will report into the Content Partner. Working within the Mindshare Outcomes Content team, they will work closely with our SEO team, activating insights and best practice through content strategy and content creation to drive results for our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative in setting up processes and expectations for the team; you will lead by example with your proactive approach to challenging the status quo, pushing yourself, your team, and your client to achieve the best results.

Key skills & knowledge:

- Exceptional project management and coordination skills, with a logical approach to problem solving
- Experience in developing and leading client relationships; known for your client servicing
- Exceptional people management skills, including developing more junior team members and working as part of a wider team
- Exceptional executional SEO & Content experience; using data and insight to develop successful end to end content strategies for your clients
- Data driven you love using data to inform your strategic thinking
- Proven experience of improving organic performance for your clients
- Extensive experience using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Majestic

- Ability to scope projects for our clients with accompanying forecasts to demonstrate the value your strategy has the potential to drive
- Good commercial acumen with ability to identify opportunities to help your clients grow, in turn growing your account revenue

- Ability to support the Content Partner in improving our proposition, whether that be through developing additional services or improving standards of delivery etc.
- Strong process capabilities, with an ability to monitor account service levels and support with finance and recruitment processes

- Experience of working with production teams would be an advantage
- An understanding of how SEO & Content can integrate with other digital and offline channels

Principal responsibilities:
Performance

Take ultimate responsibility for the output of your team, both client facing and operational Be the central client contact for your client portfolio, capable of dealing with senior management within the client and agency organization

Lead by example with a proactive approach to interrogating your clients performance Apply best practice rigor to how your accounts are being runMaintain a forward thinking and innovative approach in the development of SEO & Content activity Attend all important internal and external client meetings; provide outstanding levels of client service in a proactive manner

Profile

Keep up to date with industry developments & proactively offer POVs to your clients Become an expert in all SEO & Content services offered by Mindshare

Build a reputation as a trusted senior advisor for internal and external stakeholders

Play an active role in pitches, and other cross agency initiatives

Surfacing the best work within the team and promoting this internally and externally via case study submissions / award entries etc.

People

Take responsibility for your direct reports development and career progression

Review the quality of team output and take appropriate action to improve delivery

Play an active role in the recruitment and interviewing process to build strong teams

Process

Develop ways of working that maximize client output, whilst minimizing operational input

Ensure briefing, planning and finance processes are strictly adhered to by the team

Product

Establish strong working and communication processes with all digital teams (both at Mindshare and our clients external agencies) to provide guidance to facilitate exceptional integrated digital campaigns

Understanding of the services delivered by the Outcomes team, and their benefits

Profitability

Increase SEO & Content budgets of existing client base, by proving the value of the channel

Surface out-of-scope services to increase Mindshare revenue streams

Be commercially minded, ensuring effective management of available resources; maintain awareness of all scopes of work for your client portfolio

Performance measures:
- Fostering a spirit of collaboration and integration with the broader team, and other teams within the agency
- Achieving clients performance targets; client development and innovation
- Retention and development of client portfolio profitability and growth
- Developing and retaining team
- Contributing to and owning aspects of wider SEO & Content team initiatives
