Our client based near to Merry Hill is looking for a front desk receptionist to join the team on a temporary ongoing basis. The client are a leading sales company of manufacturing and engineering equipment. 


JOB PURPOSE


Serve as the face of the company with professional appearance, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



Answer Telephone

Answer and address incoming phone calls in a timely and polite manner

Clearly determine the purpose of the call

Deal with queries and provide correct information

Forward calls to appropriate person

Take and deliver messages accurately and completely

Accurately log initial customer enquiries into company CRM system, as necessary.

Visitor Support (as necessary) 

Greet visitors to the facility warmly and offer them help

Accept deliveries and mail, distribute to the correct recipient and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup.



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES



Admin Duties

Update Welcome Boards

General Office Tasks

Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter

Kitchen & housekeeping

Order lunches and prepare for training courses, customers, meetings and other visitors; clear hospitality area following lunch and load dishwasher.

In addition to all of the above, the Job Holder must be prepared to carry out any other task that the company deems reasonable.



SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS



Confident telephone manner and email etiquette skills

Friendly, helpful, polite, attention to detail, organized

Able to deal with demanding customers professionally

High level of customer service



HOURS


9:00 to 4:00 Monday to Friday - 11:30 – 12:00 lunch break.
