Job Description

The EMEA Sales Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading the Sales Operations function in EMEA Recruits, trains and mentors a high performing Sales Operations team
• Close partnership the EMEA Sales VP and other Sales management in performing the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual processes required to direct, manage, and monitor the EMEA sales organization of Sabre Travel Network.
• Represents Sales operations in EMEA leadership meetings and presents, Goals, achievements and initiatives in progress.
• Leads the direction for Sales Incentive planning quota setting for EMEA.
• Leads standardized sales management processes, including sales planning, budgeting, territory design, quota allocation, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and deal review. Ensures sales management and sales representatives are enabled on standardized sales processes. Acts as a subject matter expert to coach them in the execution of these practices.
• Leads, and executes EMEA sales operational processes that address EMEA-unique requirements, strategies, and goals.
• Tracks and reports on EMEA sales performance against targets. Performs standard analysis using sales reports and basic ad hoc analysis. Summarizes insight on sales pipeline, sales performance, etc. and makes operational recommendations based upon these insights to Sabre Travel Network EMEA sales leadership/management.
• Coordinates, manages, and/or executes short-term initiatives in support of EMEA sales goals, sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and global consistency.
• Collaborates regionally and globally in developing/enhancing standardized process, reports, and sales programs that facilitate efficient sales operations, effective sales execution, and improved management insight.
• Is a leader in defining business requirements for new sales systems/tools and enhancements to existing systems/tools Acts as a subject matter expert and evangelist for the sales teams in the use of sales systems/tools.
• Prepares and/or consolidates sales management presentations, status reports, communications, etc. to communicate financial, sales, and operational performance to Travel Network executive leadership, EMEA sales leadership, the EMEA sales organization, and others.
• Leads regional and some global projects/initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. Master’s degree in business/technical field preferred.

• 5-7 years relevant professional experience in sales operations, sales support/Operational Support in a business-to-business sales organization. Experience preferred in the travel/GDS industry, a SaaS vendor, or the software industry.
• 3-5 years of experience Leading an EMEA Sales Operations team or similar. Global experience is a definite plus.
• Experience using Salesforce.com
• Strong experience in working with and presenting to all Sales levels (VP/Director/Country Leader and other Sales team members)

Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong Leadership and Influencing skills
• Ability to build relationships with Sales leadership and Sales teams
• Deep knowledge and experience with best practices for sales operations process and sales effectiveness metrics.
• Proven ability to quickly and consistently execute standardized processes and enable others to do so as well. Successful track record of ensuring process compliance and driving improvements to standardized processes.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced analytical skills and to be able to ‘tell a story’ around insights to drive direction.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Proficiency in using Qlikview, Salesforce, Tableau and Einstein Analytics (or other BI Tool)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including summarizing and presenting information for executive consumption. The ability to tell a story and obtain buy in during presentations is highly regarded.
• Excellent ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, including both EMEA regional teams and global teams. Ability to forge solid internal and external customer relationships.
• Self-directed with a start-up mentality. Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable. Comfortable in a rapidly evolving environment, and skilled in change management.
• Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen displaying the highest ethical standards and impeccable character
• Demonstrable people leader experience.
• Must have experience working across multiple timezones and be willing to have calls outside EMEA hours where needed.
