We are at the center of what drives the real estate industry and continue to break ground every day with innovative solutions and best practices that touch every aspect of the real estate life cycle.The opportunityWe are looking for a Sales Operations Manager that will partner with and enable sales management, directing efficient and effective support to sales to maximize revenue and bookings, managing operational cadence and transparency of the sales team and representing sales in driving sales productivity improvement. You will partner with the sales leadership as a trusted advisor, supporting the sales leaders in developing strategy and turning strategy into operational execution, maximizing sales coverage. You will reside on the Global Operations Team with a direct and hands on partnership with the European Sales Leadership team. What you will do ‘Trusted Advisor’ – You will partner with the sales leadership to develop sales strategy, improve coverage, have objective insight into sales productivity, and recommend strategic improvement.Sales Performance – You will leverage Sales Operations to build mechanisms to provide transparency on performance metrics, support sales managers in the quarterly cadence of quarterly business and performance reviews. You will work with sales leadership to drive an efficient forecasting and quarter end close process. You will utilize systems and tools to enable performance management throughout the sales hierarchy on a weekly basis.Planning and Coordination – You will lead on behalf of sales management the annual and quarterly planning activities; ensure effective and productive executive sales reviews; maintain transparency and global consistency on key sales execution and enablement topics; support sales leadership in effective sales team communication.Sales Coverage – You will analyze and provide insight on sales coverage model opportunities in line with sales strategy; support sales leaders in managing change to sales coverage. Deal Support – You will track progress on top deals and provide transparency on key issues and required enablement; lead and coordinate Deals Desk as required to enable efficient back-office engagement and execution on key deals;Operational Support - You will support the teams with navigation through SFDC, the CPQ tool and processes. You will assist sales with optimal use of sales tools. As well as coordinate with product and marketing teams on the new product releases and the impacts on current processes. Additionally, you will drive efficiency through hands on field sales support and training.Forecasting & Pipeline Management– You will lead and coordinate the forecast cadence and process for the sales managers; drive and encourage sales discipline for accurate, consistent and timely forecast submission based on disciplined use of the sales process and tools. Create a pipeline cadence to regularly inspect and ensure pipeline is in proper order and coverage measurements are being met.Sales Productivity – You will engage sales to identify and isolate barriers to sales productivity. Plus, you will engage in cross functional sales productivity improvement initiatives. You will leverage sales support teams and the wider sales operations team to provide tangible improvement in environment that supports sales (process, tools, reporting, selling tools, training, templates, lead reporting and assignment etc) leveraging “locally” developed best practices for global adoption.Sales Incentive Plan – You will provide input to the Sales Incentive Plan evolution. Assist in the communication and understanding of the Sales Incentive Plan to the field. Additionally, support sales leadership in quota assignment. Assist in issue resolution.Training and Enablement - You will optimize sales team productivity through sales onboarding and enablement. You will assist in the implementation and administration of sales enabling technologies, including CRM and sales efficiency tools, to the sales teams. You will focus on all aspects of enablement for the field sales team.Sales Process - You will proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Working closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. As well as assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.You will haveAs the Sales Operations Manager you will ideally have 8+ years or more experience in a business operations function, and expertise in a sales focused environment. You will have the ability to work directly with Executive Sales Leaders and be a key partner in their operations team. You ideally bring with you about 10+ years of experience solving business problems and analyzing dataYou have 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations with a focus on Sales CompensationYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Business, IT,You have a strong background in Finance with general analytical skills to effectively create meaningful, understandable insights and metrics.You have proficiency in Excel with advanced spreadsheet management skills.You have strong written, verbal and presentation communications skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior management.You have strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; ability to generate concise presentation decks to illustrate and share various business-related information.You have an understanding of compensation design, forecasting methodologies, pipeline management, Sales enablement.You have the ability to build and deliver training programsYou have demonstrated leadership and expertise in sales operations at a geographic or global levelYou are highly collaborative, with strong leadership skills, but also detailed and execution orientatedCome realize your potential at Altus Group!Altus Group is committed to fostering an inclusive and accessible environment where employees feel valued and respected, and where every employee has the opportunity to realize their potential.
