Technical Author / Document Management / Software Applications / Permanent / West Midlands

My client, a market leading software company are looking for a passionate Technical Author to join the team as result of continued growth

The Technical Author will create and update user documentation for software applications. The role will suit someone with experience in documenting highly functional software applications for Desktop, Web, and Mobile environments.

In this role there will be a hybrid approach to home / office working with the clients head office being based in Warwickshire, West Midlands.

Responsibilities include:

*Comprehension and communication of technical products to different audiences including non-technical users and developers.
*Writing Release Notes.
*Writing Developer Guides.
*Product Blogs.
*Internal Comms via SharePoint.

Key Skills and Experience required:

*Experience as Technical Author in a commercial environment
*Methodical Approach
*Eye for detail
*Experience working with issue tracking applications such as Jira
*Ability to work to deadlines
*Excellent communications skills
