Sports Graduates Wanted

Teaching Personnel are working with local secondary schools based in Newport and Caerphilly to recruit sport graduates for local education roles. At Teaching Personnel we have a proven track record of converting sports graduates into classroom practitioners.

The successful sport graduate role will consist of being a supportive and influential Teaching Assistant/Mentor. You will work with the child on a 1 to 1 basis and assist with the learning and wellbeing of the pupil. Through support and mentoring you will encourage and guide the child’s learning in the right direction.

Schools In South Wales have a big emphasis on sport and are looking for someone who shares the passion. A lot of secondary schools are now equipped with outdoor and indoor sports facilities which can be utilised to assist with the student’s development. Teaching Assistants are such an important part of any school as they are the individuals who can really impact individuals over all wellbeing and mindset towards school. The role of a Teaching Assistant is a rewarding and enriching job that is a great step into education.

Summary

  • £10.20 Per Hour
  • Monday – Friday
  • Newport/Caerphilly Based Secondary schools
  • You will be paid via PAYE meaning NO umbrella companies
  • Access to free CPD courses to help develop your skills

The Teaching Assistant must have:

  • Enhanced DBS (Help will be provided)
  • Registered with the education workforce (Help will be provided)
  • A minimum of core GCSE's
  • Available full time
  • Safeguarding Trained (Help will be provided)
  • 2 recent references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
