SEN Learning Support Assistant - Full time - January 2022 start - Hounslow, West London - Competitive salary! 

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a number of SEN Learning Support Assistant vacancies, primarily within the Hounslow borough. We are currently recruiting for a full time SEN learning support assistant to work within a large school in the centre of Hounslow. The role will be start in January 2022 with the prospect to go permanent.

Tell me more about the school... The five form entry school are one of the largest schools in the UK with advanced provisions available for both students and staff. Within recent years they have moved in to a brand new building, with outstanding facilities including a SEN unit. They cater to a number of needs and abilities and pride themselves on the high standard of care their provide. Their aim is to "inspire, to encourage, to learn, to achieve" in every aspect of their school lives. They have created a number of opportunities for staff to advance and develop, including providing HLTA training and future teach training placements.

The school has a large onsite car park but is also located a short walk from an underground train station, making it easily accessible by multiple train and bus services including the H98 or H32.

What about the role? This full time position is working monday to friday, 8:30 - 3:30, within a KS1 class. This role will be working with a student with complex special educational needs, their needs including ASC, ADHD and behavioural difficulties. You will be required to support this student with one to one support throughout the day, including helping the student develop educationally, emotionally, physically and mentally. A huge part of this role will involve working through their Educational Health Care Plan and working closely with the schools SEN specialists & SENCO.

Ideal candidate?

- Experienced supporting students with Special educational needs

- Ideally with experience with a care or education setting

- Available to start in January 2022 on a full time basis

This role is starting in January, working full time 8:30-3:30. The pay is competitive and is negotiated based on experience, qualification and training - ranging from £80 - £90 per day.
