Student Recruitment Coordinator

Salary circa 18,000 per annum

Full-time: 37 hours per week

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dedicated Admissions team to drive forward our recruitment of students (school leavers and adults).

You will also help advise students in their choices for education.

You will be responsible for providing Information, Advice and Guidance services to a wide variety of customers, monitoring and processing course applications right through to enrolment.

You will provide information and guidance on courses available as well as explaining the relevant fee payments and funding support available to our applicants. Your excellent communication skills will be required to build relationships with students, schools, external agencies, and internal teams throughout the college. These skills will also be required for providing information and advice whilst attending recruitment events such as open evenings, careers fairs and exhibitions.

You will have experience in a customer service role, ideally in an education or training environment.

You will be positive, assertive and flexible with excellent attention to detail.

You will also be able to meet challenging deadlines and work within a collaborative team environment. You must be educated to Level 2 or above, including GCSE grades C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. Excellent organisational and administrative skills, and the proven ability to work in a busy environment are essential. You must also be a highly competent user of MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

A full, clean driving license is required.
